Gleena

I'm on a bit of a ceramics hunt today - check out these little beauties from Gleena, originally from Russia and now based in Pawtucket, Gleena specialises in slip porcelain designs.  You can check out her wares both at her Etsy store and on her own website.  I love the vintage style decoration used on her pieces.

Bear Paw Rustics

I really like this idea - birdhouses that look like birds nest - or at least like a very talented bird has made it - stick one of these cute little homes by Bear Paw Rustics in your garden and there will be guaranteed to be a bit of nest envy from the local robins and bluetits!

I came across Elsa Mora via a link on the InspireInspire blog. What a talented lady - not only has she created these fabulous intricate papercuts, but also can turn her hand to all sorts of different aspects of design - all with amazing results, from toys to jewellery and illustration. Pop Ink

I came across a site today called Pop Ink via Lucy Gough.  I just love the style of illustrations, which are applied to stationery, prints on birch veneer (pictured), soaps (pictured), melaminware and more.  I only just realised I have one of their books too which is really great, it features bright, colorful kitschy animal designs on old 70's wrapping paper stationery, wallpaper etc, I must go and dig it out again!

J Mendicino Ceramics

Another fantastic find from Etsy. Joanna Mendicino, based near San Francisco, makes these lovely clean and simple designs, inspired by nature - the bunny vase is adorable.

Wesley Harvey

I spied these lovely ceramic pieces on Etsy the other day and just had to share them.  Wesley Harvey is a ceramicist based in Texas, USA.  His work is inspired by the beauty found in cute and kitsch objects, I think they are fantastic - I just love the cute cartoony bunnies and the mix of colors.  Check out Wesley Harvey's work here and here.

Yellena

I have recently been looking for some new artwork for our house to brighten up the walls.  I came across Yellena's work on Etsy  some time ago, and think this is just the ticket.  I had written a rather lame description of Yellena's wok, when I checked out her profile and realised someone else had done a much better job of describing her work so I scrapped mine and here is theirs instead:  "colorful arrangements of organic shapes and tangled lines which are at once floral and alien, organic and sci-fi, crafty and fantastic".  Yellena says she tries to create an intimate world that possesses its own ethos and own emotional range.  Her work has been shown worldwide and her illustrations have been used by Anthropologie, Nike and others and have graced the pages of many magazines including Vogue Australia and Domino.  There is something I find very relaxing about looking at these illustrations - even more reason to get a couple for my bedroom.

Lollipop Pottery

I just stopped by Creature Comfort's ever-inspirational blog today and came across these absolutely perfect pottery pieces by Lollipop Pottery. I love these colorful designs made in Ohio by talented duo jessica and Tyson. I'm noticing a bit of a trend on my blog for ceramic pieces.

LoucheLab

I saw these today on Etsy via Indie Parade (at least I think it was Indie Parade - I've been making up for lost time and spending hours trawling the net for cute stuff so my brain has gone into the future) and thought they were just lovely. They are made by LoucheLab - if only I had any money spare I'd get these for my living room

The Constant Gatherer

I love stumbling across new designers and artists on the internet, and The Constant Gatherer is certainly no exception.  I cannot believe I only found her blog and website today, where have I been?!  Katie Runnels is the lady behind the Constant Gatherer and she also has an Etsy store where you can find these wonderful autumn wreathes.  If I had one of these lovely wreathes on my door this winter it would definitely put a smile on my face every time I left the house (even for work!) or came home.
