Blog of the week

..is normally on a Friday but I've been a bit lax over the last couple of weeks, so I'm doing an extra one this week. Craftsville is a pretty new website and the joint venture of Helen Entwhistle of Hello Memo and her pal Michelle. Its a great site featuring tutorials, giveaways, whats on listings, opportunities, reviews and even more! Sarah, our talented Craft Candy founder, has a post on there this week showing you how to make your own fabric banners for fairs

Blog of The Week

This week's blog of the week is the wonderful Bloesem. I found this blog about 4 years ago and have been a fan ever since. The site is written by Irene Hoofs, a dutch lady who lives with her family in Kuala Lumpur. I just love Irene's site and her sense of style.Almost everything she features on her blog I would love to have in my home. The images and items that she features on her blog are always beautiful and inspiring and her sister site, BloesemKids, is fantastic too, I don't have kids but I still visit this site often for inspiration and for the creative tutorials.

Emmas

Emmas blog never fails to inspire me and I have found myself looking through her lovely collection of images a lot recently.  Here are just a few, why don't you check out her site for yourself.  Grab a cuppa first as you will likely be rooted to the computer once you start looking.  Emmas was voted one of the best 50 design blogs by the Times, and I can't agree more.  Its a great blog, choc-full of inspiration.

Chocolate Creative

I checked out the fantastic blog of Chocolate Creative today, after they left a comment on my blog and I'm so glad I did.  The design duo behind Chocolate Creative are Kate Read and Margarita Lorenzo - a couple of very talented individuals.  I'm particularly in love with the cushion cover - another thing to add to my ever expanding wishlist!! Their blog is also full of lovely imagery and inspiration so get yourselves over there!

Joanne Rutter

I'm a huge fan of Joanne Rutter's work and although I have posted about it previously, I wanted to show you these lovely images from her blog.  I just love her painstakingly paper cut works and the way she shows off her wonderful jewellery pieces using the tree trunks is just fabulous - what a fantastic designer- Im not jealous honest!!

See you soon...

I'm off on my jollies tomorrow so this will be my last post for a couple of weeks.  We are going to Sri Lanka for a friend's wedding and to see a friend of mine who lives in Colombo. I can't wait, its been so long since I had a beach holiday I can barely contain myself!!  I will keep my eyes peeled for lovely things and will be back soon. I will leave you a pretty picture of the Stilt Fishermen of Sri Lanka.

The Constant Gatherer

I love stumbling across new designers and artists on the internet, and The Constant Gatherer is certainly no exception.  I cannot believe I only found her blog and website today, where have I been?!  Katie Runnels is the lady behind the Constant Gatherer and she also has an Etsy store where you can find these wonderful autumn wreathes.  If I had one of these lovely wreathes on my door this winter it would definitely put a smile on my face every time I left the house (even for work!) or came home.
