Prints & Patterns - Annabel Grey

While I wait for my boyfriend to get off the phone so we can go out and enjoy the rare British sunshine, I thought I'd do a post or two more - I love Annabel Grey's flower designs - so bright and vibrant and great to apply to all kinds of home furnishings.  Annabel trained in Manchester and also the Royal College of Art and all her designs are printed in Wales - so not creating lots of carbon footprints!

Prints & Patterns - Tiny Art

Before I go off to enjoy the wonderful sunshine today I thought i would leave with these lovely collage prints by Tiny Art.

Prints & Patterns - Bonbonkakku

Bonbonkakku is a pioneering Finnish net store where you can design your own fabrics. If your design is a success, it will be also sold on the site. Every fabric designed on the site will be published on the site for viewers to see and vote for. Bonbonkakku then choose the fabrics to sell on our store based on the results of viewers voting.

Lotta Jansdotter

I love the simplicity of Lotta's work, the shapes seem so organic and work so well.  Lotta has also written a few books on screen-printing, which are great for inspiration and ideas and for those of you lucky enough to be living in New York, Lotta runs classes too.

Prints & Patterns - Virginia Johnson

Lovely, blocky bold prints from Virginia Johnson, a Canadian Designer who worked for Helmut Lang before setting up her own business.  I'm especially keen on the band top (top pic).

Prints & Patterns - Sarah Waterhouse

Sarah is one of the founding members of Craft Candy, which I am a member of, creates lovely hand printed textiles which she makes up into a variety of lovely purses, mirrors, specs cases etc and also some lovely moleskin notebooks.  Sarah will be exhibiting at the next Craft Candy fair at the Millennium Galleries in Sheffield in July.  I will soon be putting up a bloglist of other Craft Candy members on the blog too - so keep checking back.

Prints & Patterns - Helen Dardik

I just love the style of Helen Dardik's work who I found via PrintPattern, so cheerful and colorful and every time I look at one of her prints I see something new I didn't see before

Prints & Patterns - Skinny La Minx

Back in the days when the Bettyjoy boutique was open, one of my fine suppliers/designers was Heather Moore aka Skinny La Minx from Capetown.  Her work is so inspiring, she not only creates great designs on ceramic and cloth but also works as an illustrator too from her studio in Capetown.

Prints & Patterns - Umbrella Prints

Lovely prints from Umbrella Prints based in Australia - they have an Etsy store too so go and check out their lovely prints.

Prints & Patterns - Aimee Wilder

Aimee Wilder is the US based creative designer behind these great wallpaper designs.  Her previous clients have included Bed Bath and Beyond, Crate and Barrel, Urban Outfitters, Dwell, Dwellbaby, Martha Stewart Living, MTV Cribs, Skip Hop, and Gap Kids and more recently, Aimee signed a licensing agreement with Vans to feature three of her designs on shoes and accessories - check them out on her site.

Prints and patterns - Angie Lewin

Angie Lewin is such a wonderfully talented printmaker.   I aspire to one day be able to create work like Angie's - think I've got a very long way to go yet!  She is currently exhibiting at the St Jude Gallery in Itteringham in Norfolk and I nearly had heart failure (in a good way - if thats possible!) when i saw that you can now buy fabric printed with Angie's designs here.

Prints and Patterns - Shinzi Katoh

I love Shinzi Katoh's work!  I love the colors and designs and most of all the words - they make me smile because sometimes they don't quite make sense.   I bought lots of Shinzi Katoh towels and stationery when I was in Japan a couple of years ago and every time I see more of his work, it always makes me want to go back there.  The range of items that Shinzi Katoh's designs are applied to is huge - go and check out the cutest lunchboxes, teatrays and other goodies here.

Prints and Patterns - Jilly P

Represented by the Lilla Rogers Studio in the US, Jilly P is a wonderfully talented illustrator based in the UK. Her work reminds me a little of Shinzi Katoh's lovely naive style.  Jilly's work can be seen in the likes of Paperchase, Debenhams and she has also recently designed a range of cards for Madison Park greetings - for those of you in America.

Prints and Patterns - Rosehip Cards

Rosehip is design studio based in the UK producing lovely stationery designs like the ones above, I love the color and bold designs - I first saw the notebooks above in a store in St Pancras in London - although I can't remember the name of the store.
