Hub Interior Design

I recently had a lovely email from Camilla Forti who has recently launched a website called HUB, an Interior Design online boutique which promotes and sells homewares by British designer makers. HUB stands for Handmade, Unique and Beautiful, and when you check out her website, you will see that her handpicked items are just that. I am in love with the dutch house cabinets and the red jug is just stunning.

C'est chic, c'est magnifique!

...that's about as much French as I can muster!  I came across a couple of wonderful French blogs the other day which have some fantastic posts and images - its no wonder that the French are world renowned for their chic style.  The images above are from Atelier Charivari based in Rouen.  I just love the mix of colors used in the boutique store.

Lush Designs

I'm in love with Lush Designs!! We are in the process of making our house a bit nicer this summer and so have been trawling through the 'net in search of lovely bits for our house. During one of my recent trawls, I came across Lush Designs who make these amazing lampshades, I would love one of each design as they are all wonderful. Lush also design tea-towels, cushions aprons and more and for those of you lucky enough to live in/or near London, they also have a shop based in Greenwich Market.

Azucar

I'm love travelling and going to warm places and I can spend hours looking at lovely boutique hotels that I can't afford to stay in - this one is especially gorgeous.  its called Azucar and is by the sea in Mexico- maybe for my honeymoon!  I found Azucar though the designhotels website which features lots of beautiful getaway hotels.

Welcome to Bettyjoy's Blog

As it is my first post ( and hopefully not my last - I don't seem to have enough staying power with blogs normally, but I am determined this one will be different!) I have decided to feature some of the items I have made recently for my etsy store TheVillageBusybody and my online store Bettyjoy  with fabric I bought in Japan last year.
